Day 1. Arrival in Bishkek, transfer to the trek start point - Djety-Oguz Gorge, (8-9 hours), (LD).
Arrival in airport “Manas” early morning, transfer to the trek start point. En the road excursion to the 11th centuryBuranahistorical complex, demonstration of Kyrgyz national horse-games show, lunch in the yurt, continue transfer to Issyk-Kul Lake, Djety-Oguz Gorge till yurt camp called “Flower Meadow” (turc. Kok- Jaiyk).
|The Burana Minaret is an architectural monument of the XI-th century. It is located 70 km from Bishkek. The Burana Minaret was one of the first constructions of this type on the territory of Central Asia. The Minaret and the remains of the Serf Walls are the only witnesses of Karahanid's State capital Balasagun, once existed there. One of the ways of The Great Silk Road passed through the town.|
|Highland Issyk-Kul Lake is located on 1610 m above sea level, 170 km from Bishkek. There are Tien-Shan mountains around it. From Kyrgyz “Issyk-Kul” (turc.Warm Lake). The lake is justify it’s name, since big volume of warming water in summer time and salt water are make it non-freezing all over the year, nevertheless that the temperature of air is - 30°C degrees in winter. It is 180 km long, 70 km across, 702 m deep. Water temperature of the lake is + 24°C degrees in summer and not lower + 4°C degrees in winter. The transparent of this lake is setting it with cleanest lakes of the world. Among alpine lakes all over the world, Issyk-Kul is smaller by its size only with Titicaca Lake in South America, but by volume of water and depth isn’t has equal. In period from May till September, the air temperature in area of water is warm up + 20°C +35°C degrees. The number of sunny days is reach 95% in this period, that is to allow make sun bathes almost every day. Mountains around the lake are covered with fir-trees forests, higher forest zone are alpine meadows with variety of flowers and grass. At altitude above 4000m the zone of never-freeze ice begin, with summits higher than 5000m. Beautiful sandy beaches, variety of landscapes are allowed diversity rest - hiking, trekking, ascends, horse–treks, diving, sailing–tours and so on.|
|Yurt - is the traditional nomadic dwelling. The original design was constructed to ensure an easily collapsible and transportable structure to correspond with the nomadic people's need to follow their herds seeking new pastures. The walls of the yurt are typically made from birch laths formed into a lattice framework and held together by leather strips. They put on this carcass a felt cover with a hole on the top (tunduk, turc.) for the fresh air and illumination.|
Day 2. Rest, acclimatization, walking around, see the life of nomad people (BLD).
This day acclimatisation and prepearing for a trek. You can see life of the nomads and make hiking to uppe of gorge.
|Djety-Oguz Gorge, located of the Terskey Ala-Too Range, in 30km west from Karakol town. The lengthof the gorge is 40 km. This is one the beautiful gorge oftheKyrgyzstan where growled the forests withworld-famousTien-Shanblue spruce. Visit card of the gorge is oddity relief redsandrock formations called “The Broken Heart” and “Seven Bulls”. Inthesummeralotofnomadsarelivingin this place. Intheuppe of gorge you can see panoramaoftheTerskeyAla-Too Range with Oguz-BashiPeak (5165m) inthecentralpartof it.|
Day 3. Trek to Telety Pass, 16 km, 6-8 hours (BLD).

The beginning of the trek is forest area and then changes on the alpine landscape.
Dinner and overnight in “Telety” tent camp at 3050m.
Day 4. Trek over Telety Pass (3800m), down to Karakol Gorge (2500m). 18 km, 6-8 hours (BLD).
|Going up the pass is not very difficult; mainly the route goes along a narrow path with a slight ascend. There are only two rather steep slopes, which require some efforts. From the top of the pass at 3800m we enjoy the views of the surroundings. Descent is rather simple, along a wide slope covered with talus, across alpine meadows with various herbs and flowers, along East TeletyRiver. Later we hike through the wood along a trail covered with roots. Dinner and overnight in “Karakol” tent camp at 2500m.|
Day 5. Trek along the gorge to “Sirota” hut and to Ala-Kol Lake (3532m), 9 km, 6-8 hours (BLD).
|Descent along the gorge about 1 km, later we cross the river over a bridge and the trail leads us into a forest. Rather long ascent finishes at a steep slope covered with grass, the trail turns into a serpentine, passes by a river overflow, and arrive to an unusual place which is called “Sirota” mountain hut. |
It is a log hut. There is a table, benches, fireplace inside. We can find a number of sculptures of animals and idols carved in wood around the hut. It looks like a fairy tale place. It is a nice place to sit down, rest, have a snack.
Later the trail goes up higher, leaving the forest behind we hike along the river and reach a beautiful waterfall, flowing down from Ala-Kol Lake (turc.Colorful Lake).
Dinner and overnight in “Ala-Kol” tent camp at 3600m.
Day 6. Trek over Ala-Kol Pass (3800m) and descend to Arashan Gorge (2600m), 18 km, 6-8 hours, transfer to Karakol town (BL).
|Moraine lake of Ala-Kolstretches from east to west for 2.8km, its width is 500m, anddepth 70m. Depending on the light the water might changeits color. It can be emerald green, turquoise with white clouds reflected, light green or dark grey, or even black. |
During the ascent we enjoy wonderful views of the lake. Arriving closer to the lake we see the main of TerskeiAla-Too Range with a number of peaks – Aksu, Djigit, Karakol, Oguz-Bashi, etc. From the lake edge it will take us another hour and half to the pass.
Descent from the pass along a talus slope, and later across a wide valley of Keldike with picturesquelandscapes, herds of cattle and flocks of sheep grazing. Later the trail brings usinto a forest again and descends into ArashanValley.
Transfer to Karakol town, accommodation in quest-house, dinner in local café.
Day 7. Karakol city-tour, transfer to Inylche Valley 2500 m, At-Jailoo Base Camp (BD)
Excursion is beginning in Museum of Nikolai Przhevalsky. The next place of excursion - is Dungan mosque. At the end of excursion – visit Troizckaya Orthodox Church. Lunch after excursion.
|Karakol is biggest city, situated near the Issyk-Kul Lake. Karakol was named Przhevalsk in period 1889 - 1991, in honor of famous Russian traveler - explorer Nikolai Przhevalski. At present it is administrative center of Issyk-Kul region, it's population above 80 000. The sightseeing of Karakol: Nikolai Przhevalski Memorial, wooden Dungan Mosque, Orthodox Church. Karakol is well known by many travels of exploring Tien-Shan has started and starting at present time.|| |
|Memorial complex of Nikolai Przevalski was founded in 1894 in memory of famous Russian traveler - explorer Nikolai Przhevalski. Complex is located near Issyk-Kul Lake at 12 km from Karakol town. The area of the complex was located near the shore in period of foundation. The shore is gone out on few hundreds meters now. Memorial complex includes monument built in 1894 year, chapel and big orchard. Here, in the silent of beautiful orchard, the grave of famous traveler is situated.|| |
|Dungan Mosque the magnificent monument of the architecture of the XX century beginning that was built up without any single nail. The builders used the experience and the craftsmanship of the traditional Dungan wood architecture. Russian Orthodox Church located in the center of the town. It was built in 1895, and it is the most ancient Orthodox Church in Kyrgyzstan. It is also one of the biggest wooden buildings in Central Asia.|| |

After lunch, aperture from Karakol and in a 1,5 hour of driving we are in large beautiful Turgen-Aksu Gorge. This road comes to Inylchek Village and was built in 70-80 years. Driving up in the gorge about 4 hours. Organizing tent camp in green glade near At-Jailoo Gorge.
Day 8. At-Jailoo – Inylchek Glacier (camp 1), 18 km, 6-8 hours, 2900m (BLD).
Trekking from At-Jailoo camp along Inylchek River to the clapper of Inylchek Glacier. The Inylchek Glacier is one in a largest mountain glaciers of the World. Extending 59 km in length with a width of over 3 km. The first outside to travel into the area and visit the glacier was the European Gotfrid Merzbaher in 1907 year. Path is along channel of the Inylchek River. Camp are located under pedestal of the Nancen Peak (5697 m) Overnight in tents.
Day 9. Inylchek Glacier (camp 1) – Putevodniy Glecier (camp 2), 10 km, 6-8 hours, 3100 m (BLD).
Trek up along left lateral moraine of South Inylchek Glacier to confluence with Putevodnyi Glacier. Trek across the glacier. One of the most difficult parts today (especially in the second part of the day) can be the crossing a wide stream situated closer to the right shore of the glacier. There is a big smooth sandy ground at the confluence of the right moraine of Putevodnyi Glacier and South Inylchek Glacier. Overnight in tents.
Day 10. Putevodni Glecier (camp 2) – Green Glade (camp 3), 10 km, 6-8 hours, 3400m (BLD).
Trekking along flank moraine of the glacier to green meadow. The passage during this day is not difficult and short. In the second part of the day having rest. Green Glade the last grassy place in the area located just across the unique Merzbacher Lake. There is a small metal cabin comfortable for 4 persons and a large green area around which is flat enough for camping. Overnight in tents.
Day 11. Green Glade (camp 3) – Komsomolskiy Glacier (camp 4), 10 km, 6-8 hours, 3800m (BLD).
It is a long day of trekking surrounded with beautiful landscapes – snow, rocks and multi-colored ice – black, white and sometimes even striped, we cross ice streams The beginning of a trek are till a Shokalski Glecier, then turn on the left and go up to central moraine (red moraine) of the South Inylchek Glacier. The road along red moraine is not difficult and dungaree. Overnight in tents.
Day 12. Komsomolskiy Glacier (camp 4) – South Inylchek base camp, 8 km, 5-6hours, 4100m (BLD).
Trekking in this part of Tien-Shan is absolutely fabulous. During trek opens the beautiful panorama Centre Tien-Shan with Khan-Tengri Peak(7010 m) and more northeast seven thousandth of the World – Pobeda Peak (7439 m). The distinctive characteristic of the region is a great number of nameless peaks, unclimbed yet, about 5000m above sea level high. Overnight in the base camp of South Inylchek.
Day 13. South Inylchek BC - Karkara Valley - Bishkek (BL).
Helicopter flight to Karkara BC, transfer to Bishkek, accommodation at the hotel. Transfer o Bishkek is along north side of the Issy-Kul Lake. You can visit natural museum of the petroglyphs.
Day 14. Bishkek (B).
Half day excursion at Bishkek includes visit Historical Museum, Central Square, Pobeda Square, Michael Frunze’s Museum. During free time you can visit bazar, shopping.
|Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyz Republic was founded in the end of XIX century. First name – Pishpek, and it called Frunze in USSR period. In 1991 it was renamed to Bishkek. City is located on the North of republic in the middle of Chu Valley near foothills of Kyrgyz Ala-Too. Population of Bishkek is above 1 million. In present, city is one of the prosperity cities in Central Asia. City has many historical monuments, museums and theatres – Frunze Museum, Historical Museum, Victory Square, Ala-Too Square, Fine Art Museum, Opera and Ballet Theatre, Philharmonic.|
Day 15. Early morning, transfer to the airport, departure.
